Shoulder Anatomy/Dissection Workshop for NHMI Members - SELLS OUT IN HOURS!
We had an outstanding response to the announcement of this special event for NHMI members; it sold out the same day the email went out to members! We are very fortunate to have one of the area’s best shoulder surgeons, our president Dr. Jim Vailas, to perform the dissection and share his vast knowledge with attendees. This March 31 event will be an expanded version (2+ hours!) of our usual pre-Symposium workshops. The best thing about a dissection workshop with Dr. Vailas is that he's still excited about anatomy even after more than 20 years as a surgeon! Watch your email for future opportunities.

"Comparison of Time and Difficulty During Helmet and Facemask Removal," a study in our line of investigation into safe emergency management of football athletes was presented at the Eastern Athletic Trainers Association meeting in Boston on January 7. Congratulations to authors Nora Beltz, MS, ATC and Molly Day (2010-11 Athletic Training Residents), Erik Swartz, Jason Mihalik and Laura Decoster.
