A Typical Day

Generally, the Fellow's rotations take place in the morning hours. For example, during your Orthopedics rotation with Dr. Vailas you will spend Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings following him through his office hours. On Monday and Wednesday you will observe with him in surgery. In the afternoon hours, you will be either in the Apple Therapy clinic where you are primarily responsible for our athletic injury drop-in clinic, or at a local high school working as their ATC. The drop-in clinic and school assignment are busiest in the fall, but you will also have game coverage duties throughout the year.
