Christopher
Bono, MD, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA:
Dr.
Bono is an orthopedic surgeon, fellowship (UC San Diego) trained in Spine
Surgery. He
earned his Medical Degree at SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn, NY then
completed his Orthopaedic Residency at NJ Medical School, Department of Orthopaedics,
University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, NJ. Dr. Bono's
published research includes many peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and
presentations. He is currently Chief of Orthopedic Spine Surgery at
Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
Donald
Craven, MD, Lahey Clinic,
Burlington, MA:
Dr. Craven
completed his residency and fellowship in internal medicine at the Royal
Victoria Hospital, McGill University, then did his infectious disease fellowship
at Boston University School of Medicine and was a research fellow at the
National Institutes of Health. Dr. Craven has received numerous teaching
awards, is recognized in Best Doctors in America and America’s Top
Doctors. He has written more than 200 articles and 60 chapters. His
major interests include public health, vaccines, pneumonia, hospital infections,
bacteremia, Lyme disease, hepatitis B/C and HIV/AIDS. Dr. Craven is currently
Chair of Infectious Diseases at the Lahey Clinic.
Gregory
Fanelli, MD, Geisinger Sports Medicine, Danville, PA
Dr. Fanelli
received his medical degree from Penn State, and completed his Fellowship
at the Washington Orthopaedic and Knee Clinic. Dr. Fanelli serves
on the Editorial Board for Arthroscopy and as orthopaedic consultant for
the Susquehanna University Athletic Department.
Richard
Iorio, MD, Lahey Clinic, Burlington, MA:
Dr.
Iorio is an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Director of Resident
Education at Lahey Clinic. Dr. Iorio has expertise in treatment of lower
extremity arthritis including TJR, osteotomy and arthroscopic surgery. He
has published extensively these on topics. Dr. Iorio is a Consultant Reviewer
for J. of Bone and Joint Surgery, J. of Arthroplasty, and Clinical Orthopaedics
and Related Research. He has participated in 14 funded grants and is responsible
for 77 peer reviewed publications. Dr. Iorio was named the 2008 AOA ASG Fellow.
Andrew
Marcantonio, DO, Lahey Clinic, Burlington, MA:
Dr. Marcantonio
trained at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine then completed
his orthopedic trauma fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Special interests include fracture nonunion, pelvic and acetabular
(as well as other periarticular) fractures. He is a clinical assistant professor
for the Boston University School of Medicine and practices at Lahey Clinic.
John
Macy, MD, University of Vermont, Burlington, VT:
Dr.
Macy graduated with a B.S. from McGill University and received his medical
degree from the UMDNJ/ New Jersey Medical School. He completed his internship
in general surgery and his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery with the Department
of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at FAHC/University of Vermont. He then
trained as a National Institutes of Health post-doctoral fellow and completed
his shoulder fellowship training with the Transcontinental Shoulder Fellowship
in Boston and Zurich, Switzerland. He joined Associates in Orthopaedics in
2001. His area of expertise includes shoulder reconstruction and arthroscopic
surgery.
Anthony
Schepsis, MD, Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA:
Having
completed both medical school and residency there, Dr. Schepsis has a long
history with Boston University Medical Center where he is currently Director
of Sports Medicine and a full professor of orthopedic surgery. He is
widely recognized for his expertise in several areas of sports medicine including
patellofemoral conditions and arthroscopy.
